Thanks to "Anonymous" for forwarding this article from April 5, 1992 regarding "Krishna Pencovick": http://www.deseretnews.com/article/219287/ANOTHER-ANGLE-SURFACES-IN-KAYS-CROSS-SAGA.html. Please note that this article erroneously reports that Krishna Venta was killed in 1948.
For more information on Kay's Cross, see http://www.newwest.net/index.php/main/article/4046/ and http://www.utahgothic.com/tour/Kay%27s%20Cross.html
I posted the link to the article. There is a lot of mystery here in Kaysville, Utah regarding who built Kay's Cross and why. The Deseret News article sheds some light on the subject and seems like a plausible answer. What do you think? I noticed that some of the pictures you posted earlier (posts 79 & 80) of Krishna Venta were from the Uintah County Library's collection. The pictures appear to have been taken in Vernal, Utah (the county seat of Uintah County). I suppose he may have visited Kaysville and the Kingston family around the same time he visited Vernal. If you dig up any information regarding Kay's Cross I would love to hear about it.
